(Tallahassee, FL, March 24, 2010) Full Press Apparel, a Tallahassee based T-shirt design and print shop announces the launch of an innovative, online service. The feature is easily accessed through the Full Press website home page: www.fullpressapparel.comand allows visitors to create their own T-shirt designs with user-friendly, digital tools.
Tracey Shrine, co-owner of Full Press realized that many college students from local universities Florida State, Florida A&M and the community college TCC, wanted assistance in creating their own T-shirt designs. She challenged her staff and web designers to come up with a way to implement the process through the Full Press website. The service went through several weeks of testing but is now live and available to the public.
Although not new to the industry on a national basis, Full Press is the only local company to offer this service. “This is simple and fun! We’ve gotten numerous hits since we went online to test the application.” Tracey commented. “The college student population has asked for it and we’re the first and only local apparel company that offers it” commented Danny Shrine owner and founder of Full Press Apparel.
“Students are amazed at the ease of use and are taking advantage of the new service.” says, Heather Kellermeier, a Full Press sales representative since 2007. “My clients are mostly students and they absolutely love it.”
Full Press Apparel was founded in 1997 by Danny Shrine, an experienced screen printer from Jacksonville, Florida. Initially, the large Tallahassee collegiate population’s hunger for custom T-shirts and promotional items fueled a thriving printing business for Full Press. The company since then has been serving the area’s uniform and apparel needs for many local and regional businesses, associations, state agencies and non-profit organizations.
Mr. Shrine’s entrepreneurial instincts directed him to locate his printing business conveniently within walking distance of the both universities and just minutes from the community college and Tallahassee’s downtown district at 645 West Gaines Street. Danny and Tracey Shrine are partners in business and family and reside in Tallahassee with their two children. They are currently active in many Tallahassee service and civic organizations, including the Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce, Tallahassee Sunrise Rotary, Junior Achievement and Junior League of Tallahassee.
