The Tallahassee Chamber announced the winners of the 2011 Small Business Excellence Awards today at a luncheon held at the University Center Club. The coveted awards were presented by the Tallahassee Democrat and sponsored by Capital City Bank and CenturyLink.

Congrats to all the winners but we especially want to “tip our hats” to our friends at AMWAT Moving & Storage, for winning “Small Business of the Year” in the category of 5-30 employees and also Good Friends Group Fitness Center for winning “Emerging Business of the Year.”

What Annoys Customers the Most?
Posted: June 7, 2011  inLatest News

According to a recent survey by  Consumer Reports 64% of those questioned admitted to actually leaving a store during the past year as a result of poor customer service, while 65% acknowledge being “tremendously annoyed” by a rude salesperson. Out of a scale of one to 10 (10 being most annoying) the “most annoying in-store customer gripes” are that of a rude salesperson (8.7) and a pushy salesperson (8.2).

We wholeheartedly agree and promise to treat our customers the way we would like to be treated. As one of our core values we strive to excel in face-to-face customer service and satisfaction.

Drop us a note and let us know how we are doing. Feedback is always welcome.
