Shirts Convey the “Connect” Message of Conference
Posted: July 7, 2010 inLatest News
Every August Full Press has the privilege of creating the Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce Commemorative T-shirt for their annual conference.
This year the theme will revolve around “Disconnect from everyday life and get connected with” as the sponsors will engage attendees with “ways to connect” to the following: (1) tools and resources to market, grow and enhance their businesses, (2) projects and community initiatives, and (3) business leaders and elected officials.
The Chamber will hold the three-day event at the Hilton Sandestin Resort, August 13 – 15. The list of keynote speakers include Chris Hart, president and CEO of Workforce Florida and interim director of the Governor’s Office of Tourism, Trade, and Economic Development; FAMU President James Ammons; and FSU President Eric Barron.
Workshop sessions on small-business marketing, business resources and tools, and regional economic engines — as well as economic-development projects and opportunities will be available. A special report on the impact of the oil disaster in the Gulf on Florida, the Emerald Coast and the Tallahassee area will be presented.
The Annual Chamber Community Conference will bring all elements of the business community, from home-based entrepreneurs to key business and political leaders, to discuss real issues affecting Tallahassee’s future.
